Jaipongan or Jaipong Dance is actually a dances that has been modern because it is a modification or development of traditional dance that is typical Sundanese Ketuk Tilu.

This Jaipong dance performed with musical accompaniment is also typical, namely Degung. Music is a diverse collection of musical instruments such as Kendang, Go'ong, Saron, Kacapi, etc..

Degung can be likened to 'orchestra' in European music / American. A unique feature of this Jaipong Dance is a stomping music, where Kendang musical instruments most prominent sounds for dance accompaniment.
